11/1 – Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen’s ” Sunny & Often Windy” Wednesday Afternoon Forecast
SUMMARY: Local meteorologists have noticed a sudden change in the weather, with temperatures dropping significantly. A 24-hour temperature map shows the East Coast experiencing a similar drop as when a front moved through a few days ago. High pressure is currently keeping the area stable, but winds along the Gulf Coast will increase. There is little cloud cover, allowing for quick heat escape during the overnight hours. The Mississippi Power Doppler shows clear skies and no rainfall or storms. The daytime will be sunny with temperatures in the 60s, but overnight temperatures will drop into the 30s, with real feel temperatures in the 20s. A freeze watch and warnings are in place for the Gulf Coast, along with red flag warnings for increased fire danger. Temperatures will rebound slightly later in the week.
