Third suspect arrested for fatal Hinds County club shooting

SUMMARY: A third , Anthony Brown, has been in connection to a fatal shooting at a Utica club. The shooting occurred outside the Sugar Shack Club, resulting in one and four injuries. Two other suspects, Eric Dixon and Joseph Crum, have already been arrested and charged. The incident is believed to have stemmed from an altercation between the deceased and the suspects. Investigators recovered multiple weapons and shell casings at the scene. Additional arrests and charges may follow. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sheriff's Office or Stoppers.

Hinds County supervisor expelled after bringing gun to meeting

SUMMARY: Board of Supervisors expelled District 2 Supervisor Tony Smith from a meeting for carrying a firearm without a concealed carry permit.
