Teens arrested on home invasion charges
SUMMARY: After a failed home invasion involving an off-duty deputy, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old attempted to invade a home in Hattiesburg. Unaware that the home belonged to a Stone County deputy, the teens fled the scene. One of them shot at the deputy but no injuries were reported. The deputy managed to catch the unarmed suspect and detained him. The second suspect was later found walking down Highway 49. Both suspects were taken into custody and charged with home invasion of an occupied dwelling, with additional charges possible.

West Point Police seek stolen ATVs
SUMMARY: West Point Police are seeking information on a burglary at Adventure ATV where a red and white Canam 1R side by side was stolen. The incident occurred before midnight, with the burglar wearing all black and escaping west on West Church Hill Road. Police urge anyone with information to contact them to help locate the suspect and the stolen vehicle.
A West Point shop for outdoor vehicles became the scene of a burglary Friday night, and police need your help finding the suspect.

Pollinator Palooza sprouts for second year in New Albany

ICC graduation held on Friday
SUMMARY: Graduation season is here, a special day for students celebrating their hard work and achievement. WTV Jake White reported live from the ICC campus in Tupelo, where the energy was incredible. Graduates expressed happiness at finally walking across the stage after years of hard work. The event was packed with new grads and their loved ones at the Davis Event Center. Some graduates shared their feelings of accomplishment and gratitude towards their teachers and peers. State House speaker Jason White also congratulated the graduates. Overall, it was a day of celebration and pride for all the college graduates.
Students from the Itawamba Community College graduated on Friday.
