Six-year-old represents Mississippi at pageant
SUMMARY: Jackson Public School District's six-year-old student, Alijah-Joye Major, recently competed in the “Miss Elementary America First Grade” pageant in Little Rock, Arkansas. MCC GRADUATION CEREMONY

Storm damage across the metro
SUMMARY: Severe weather, including strong winds and heavy rain, caused major damage in Hinds, Madison, and Rankin counties.
