Amory dentists offering free services on May 10, little more than a year after tornado
SUMMARY: At Four Clinic in Amry is offering free dental care this Friday to people without dental insurance. Heal and Family Dental Care on Guy Pickle Drive will provide free extractions, fillings, and cleanings to those 18 and older on a first come, first served basis. Patients must bring a valid ID and list of current medications. The community has shown support, especially after last year's tornado recovery, inspiring the clinic to give back. Registration starts at 7:30 am with dentists working until 4:00 pm. This event is a way for the clinic to show appreciation for the community and give back to those in need.

York West End Junior High School chosen for Adopt-A-School program
SUMMARY: A business advocacy organization in Tuscaloosa is partnering with a power company to enhance the educational experience of a school in Sumter County. The Chamber of Commerce West Alabama has a program called Adopt A School, where businesses, organizations, or even fraternities and sororities partner with schools to give back to the community. Alabama Power chose York West Junior High School and will provide volunteers for school projects, career awareness programs, and more. The school and the Chamber are excited about the opportunity for students to learn about different organizations and businesses in the community and prepare for the workforce. National Train Day observed Saturday, May 11, at Meridian Railroad Museum
