Relativity Space breaks ground on new test stand at Stennis Space Center
SUMMARY: Relativity Space, a leading 3D-printed rocket company, is investing $267 million to create 630 jobs in Hancock County, Mississippi. The company has broken ground on a new vertical test stand at NASA's Stennis Space Center, which will support advanced vertical stage testing for its medium-to-heavy lift reusable rocket, Terran R. Relativity is also expanding its footprint at the site with new engine test stands, office buildings, and a vehicle hangar. This expansion will enable the company to increase testing, shorten the speed to market, and solidify America's leadership in space.
