SUMMARY: A shooting incident in L County left a victim injured and deputies are investigating. The victim was shot while stopped at a stop sign on Casey Lane, with a white four-door sedan stopping in front of them and firing from the passenger side. The victim sustained injuries from shrapnel hitting their face, including scratches and an object lodged under their eye. After driving home, the victim was taken to the hospital by their cousin. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers anonymously.

The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office is looking into a shooting that left one person hurt on Sunday night.
