One person injured after two attempted robberies in Lowndes County
SUMMARY: Ford County Sheriff Eddie Hawkins is searching for a suspect who attempted to rob two stores overnight. The suspect hit a store clerk with a shotgun and then assaulted another worker during the attempted robbery. Surveillance images are being shared in hopes of identifying the suspect. The suspect had also tried to rob a Dollar General store previously. Anyone with information is urged to contact Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers anonymously. The focus is on getting the suspect off the streets and bringing them to justice for their violent actions.
