SUMMARY: The annual Neshoba County Fair in Mississippi is in full swing, with politicians gearing up to give speeches at the popular event. The suspect, David Barrett, fled the scene in a vehicle towards Flowood. Capitol police recovered the stolen $734.50 and arrested Barrett, charging him with robbery. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Medgar Evers to receive Presidential Medal of Freedom

Mississippi prepares to mark 2024 Hurricane Preparedness Week
