MUW President Nora Miller briefs community on what’s next for ‘The W’
SUMMARY: Mississippi University for Women (The W) recently discussed their short-term and long-term plans with business and community leaders in Columbus. The university celebrated the opening of its Culinary Institute and its entry into the NCAA Division 3. They are also considering changing the university's name and a task force is working on a proposal to present to the legislature. The W will be hosting Colonel Eileen Collins, the first woman to command a space mission, at their annual Welty Gala.
