Mississippi’s largest economic project holds hiring event

The $2.5 investment will create 1,000 in the Golden Triangle Industrial Park, with an average salary of nearly $100,000. Governor Tate Reeves is pleased with the project and believes it will positively impact the lives of many . A hiring will be held on October 14 and 15, and jobs available include electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, operations, maintenance, and more. Aluminum Dynamics expects to begin production in the summer of 2025. Last year, Mississippi lawmakers approved almost $247 million in incentives for the project.

Man shot, killed at Jackson gas station

An 18-year-old has been in connection to the fatal shooting, but has not been identified. Detective Tommie Brown confirmed the arrest.
