SUMMARY: The Richland Police Department made three arrests in a kidnapping and stolen vehicles case. Police believe the victims were targeted but they don't know why. Officers were searching for a stolen vehicle with two kidnapped children possibly still inside. They found the car abandoned with the children unharmed but then spotted another stolen vehicle. The car was pursued into Jackson where police say it crashed at Highway 80 near Gallatin Street. 18-year-old Zikavian Robinson and two juveniles were taken into custody after trying to run away. Investigators say they found a fully automatic rifle and narcotics.

Three arrests have been made after a two kidnapped children were found in one stolen vehicle and another led police on a chase.

High winds knocked down trees and power lines in Columbus
