Interview: St. Jude Bike-a-thon scheduled for May 19 in Plantersville
SUMMARY: The 34th annual St. Jude Bathon is happening next weekend in Plantersville. The event started 34 years ago with just nine men raising $500, and now they hope to raise $35,000 this year. The event attracts over 500 participants, including walkers and riders. The Bathon is a way to raise money for St. Jude and support families dealing with childhood cancer. Participants can sign up at Town Hall or call to register. The feeling of handing over a check to St. Jude and knowing they are helping those in need is a source of pride and joy for the organizers.
The 34th annual St. Jude Bike-a-thon is scheduled for May 19 at the Plantersville Community Center.
