Inmates at Chickasaw Regional Correctional Facility earn theology degrees

SUMMARY: A group of inmates at Chickasaw Regional Correctional Facility in Mississippi have achieved theology degrees after three years of study and hard work. The inmates, Jeremy Ray and Jeffory Turner, said the theology course and other faith-based opportunities made a big difference in their lives. Ray plans to use his degree to continue teaching and leading small 's groups, while Turner believes the course brought them hope and , even behind bars. The voluntary, nondenominational theology course also incorporates anger management, substance abuse treatment, and other important topics. The inmates hope to continue their ministry work both in jail and in the real world after their release.
