Holmes County Central student-athlete killed in drive-by shooting
SUMMARY: Seventeen-year-old student-athlete Clyzavion Landfair from Holmes County Central was killed in a drive-by shooting on Highway 51 in Goodman. SUMMARY: A shooting incident occurred at a Walmart in Lucedale on Tuesday night, injuring two people. According to Lucedale Police Chief Kellum Fairley, the shooting happened around 10 p.m. as two Black males entered the store. As another man approached, one of the two men pulled a firearm and began firing, hitting the approaching man in the shoulder. A stray bullet also injured a female customer in the foot. The suspects fled in a vehicle, while the injured man and woman sought medical treatment and are expected to recover. Police have identified the suspects and anticipate making arrests soon.
