Richland woman arrested for selling drugs near school, outside restaurant’s drive-through window
SUMMARY: A Richland woman named Brandi Jo Luke has been arrested for selling drugs out of a fast-food restaurant near a local school. Luke was caught distributing narcotics through the restaurant's drive-through window. She is facing charges of selling methamphetamine and a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school, as well as possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. Luke could potentially be sentenced to 31 years in prison if convicted. The investigation was carried out by the Richland Police Department's FLEX unit, with assistance from every division within the department.

SUMMARY: As postseason college baseball begins, standout players from Mississippi schools are being recognized. The Southwestern Athletic Conference, including Jackson State, Alcorn State, and Mississippi Valley State, hasn't announced its all-conference teams yet.
