SUMMARY: Mississippi is set to receive $1.1m from a $102.5m settlement with Indivior, the maker of opioid addiction treatment Suboxone. The pharmaceutical company has been accused of using illegal means to switch the Suboxone market from tablets to film while destroying the market for tablets in order to preserve its drug monopoly. The company's anti-competitive practices blocked cheaper generic drugs from being available to those attempting to break free from opioid dependence.

One dead after car goes into Ross Barnett Reservoir in Ridgeland
