'Fun with Food' class to teach children about food safety, health, wellness

SUMMARY: Grace Brinster, from the Mississippi State University Extension Service, is partnering with the Harrison County Advocacy Center to bring a community wellness program to Gulfport. The program focuses on teaching culinary skills to children aged 9-12, encouraging healthy eating habits and physical activity. The classes are designed to involve families and teach them about different foods and cooking techniques. The program is scheduled to take place from March 19th to the 21st and aims to promote overall wellness among the youth in the community.
