FDA being asked to look into Logan Paul’s energy drink, which has the caffeine of 6 Coke cans
SUMMARY: PRIME, an energy drink promoted by YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI, is facing criticism from lawmakers and health experts over its high levels of caffeine. Senator Charles Schumer has called for an investigation by the FDA, expressing concern about the potential health risks for children who consume the beverage. PRIME contains 200 milligrams of caffeine per 12 ounces, which is equivalent to half a dozen Coke cans or nearly two Red Bulls. Some schools in the UK and Australia have already banned the drink due to concerns about its impact on young children's health.
