SUMMARY: . BUT WE ALSO WANT TO PROVIDE A FUN AND ENGAGING WAY FOR PEOPLE TO GET ACTIVE AND LEARN ABOUT HEALTHY LIFESTYLES. SO THIS DANCING FOR HEALTH EVENT IS JUST ANOTHER WAY FOR US TO REACH OUT AND MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THE COMMUNITY. So if you don't like getting on the floor, you can also dance at the event. It will have Zumba and line dancing classes, health care providers, and vendors with information about aerobics, fitness, and other health issues. The event will be held from 3 to 6 pm on Sunday the 18th of February at Quest Fitness. No need to call in advance, just show up and bring your kids for a chance to win prizes and enjoy face painting. The event is organized by the Mississippi Obesity Society to promote a healthy lifestyle in the community.

Byram's Swinging Bridge Festival returns for the 16th year

Another stellar outing by Billy Oldham helps lift Southern Miss past Coastal Carolina
SUMMARY: Southern Miss has 10 games left on their schedule, with a strong desire to make it back to the NCAA regionals. They recently faced off against Coastal Carolina, with Nick Monastier hitting a solo shot to tie the game. Aussie Pratt and Dalton McIntyre also contributed to the team's win. Pitcher Billy Olden stood out with a career-high 11 strikeouts in the game. The team has been working on communication and teamwork, with older players taking on leadership roles. Former Southern Miss athlete Duran Dun, now known as The Freeze at Braves games, returned to campus to throw out the first pitch.

Hattiesburg man killed by airplane three years ago remembered
