SUMMARY: A group of suspects stole about 23,000 feet of copper wire, causing $40,000 worth of damage to power lines. This occurred in the Queen City, where a popular cookie chain, Crumbl, is about to open. The owners of Crumbl are excited to bring their weekly rotating cookie menu to East Mississippi but also want to give back to the community by donating any excess cookies. Their goal is to reduce waste and support organizations in need. The store in the Meridian Crossroads will be opening its doors soon.
