The lack of quorum at the meeting was unusual as normally there is a full board present. District three supervisor was attending a seminar, one member was not feeling well, and one had an emergency. The main item on the agenda was a request to declare the circuit courthouse in disrepair and take emergency action to use funds for badly needed repairs. The board president expressed urgency in getting the repairs done due to leaking courtrooms and wet files.

Salvation Army brings sweet treats to first responders
