Car Hits Horses in Copiah
SUMMARY: Police in Copiah County are expecting to lay more charges after a tragic incident on Highway 51 North near Martinsville last night. A Chevy Equinox driven by a Brookhaven man collided with two horses and their riders, resulting in the death of both horses. The driver and riders were taken to UMC with injuries of unknown severity. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the incident and more charges are expected to be filed in the coming days.
