Booneville man sentenced to 15 years for trafficking meth
SUMMARY: A 34-year-old man from Booneville, Mississippi has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Justin Williams pleaded guilty to the charge and was found to be involved in a drug trafficking organization that transported large quantities of methamphetamine from Texas to Mississippi. Williams arranged for the controlled substances to be shipped through commercial package delivery services and then distributed them throughout the state. The investigation into this organization lasted more than a year and resulted in the indictment of Williams and 16 others. Williams was also ordered to pay a $10,000 fine and forfeit over $100,000 in drug proceeds and jewelry.
