Body shops are seeing an increase in workload as a result of winter weather
SUMMARY: Jake White reports from Tupelo that the roads are in terrible condition due to the rain and slush, which will likely freeze later. This has led to an increase in accidents and people getting stuck in ditches. Tow and automotive companies are reporting a high volume of work due to the situation, with some drivers waiting over an hour for help if they get stuck. Given the dangerous condition of the roads, White advises people to stay off the road if possible, or to drive well below the speed limit and be cautious of other cars if they absolutely have to go out.
