Bicyclist dies after trailer detaches from truck on I-55

SUMMARY: A bicyclist was killed in Rankin County, Mississippi when he was hit by a vehicle's trailer on August 15. The incident occurred on Interstate 55 near Interstate 20 . The trailer became detached from a GMC Sierra and collided with the bicyclist, causing severe -threatening injuries. The victim, 64-year-old David Crumpton, was taken to the where he later died.
