Greenville native prepares for NFL Draft
SUMMARY: Dillon Johnson, former MSU running back, is eager to join the NFL draft. After transferring to Washington last year, he had a successful season leading the Pac 12 in rushing touchdowns. Former Mississippi State and Washington running back Dillon Johnson is ready to take the next step in his football career. The Greenville native who starred at St. Joseph's high school is a complete back. He displayed his versatility and running ability to the fullest at Washington last season. He led the Pac-12 in rushing touchdowns and was key in the Huskies run to the national title game. With three years under Mike Leach at MSU, which brought out his pass catching talents, a breakout season in 2023 and a clean bill of health Dillon is ready to hear his named called during the NFL Draft.
