Helping Disadvantaged Coast Communities with Environmental Actions
SUMMARY: On May 1, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded a $2,499,800 grant to The Land Trust for the Mississippi Coastal Plain (LTMCP) to aid disadvantaged communities along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Over five years, it will support identifying and implementing projects to improve environmental conditions in six coastal counties of Mississippi.
