You’re Never Alone on a Walk Through the Gardens

Since its first service in April 1960, initiated by Rev. Harvell Jackson, the site has been a cherished spot for many in George and Greene County, Mississippi. Incorporating annual traditions like watching the sunrise amongst blooming flowers while trumpets play, the gardens have hosted countless services, weddings, and bible studies. Although sunrise services stopped about five years ago, tourists can still visit this miniature Holy Land, now owned by Don and Cindy Bradley. The Bradleys maintain the site as an accurate scale model of biblical Palestine, featuring replicated cities and native plants.
