Hinton wins special election in Soso
SUMMARY: Scott Hinton, a retired veteran and insurance adjuster, was elected as the new alderman in the town of Soso after a special election. He defeated former mayor Ralph Cahill and Summer Yates. Hinton, who is a native of the small town, expressed his readiness to serve the community and work with the other aldermen, the mayor, and the community to move forward. He will be sworn in at the next board of aldermen meeting.
After a special election last week, there will be a new alderman in the Town of Soso.
