Victims identified in deadly U.S. 49 crash
SUMMARY: Multiple people have died following a crash in Harrison County at the intersection of Nobles Road and Highway 49, just south of Saucier. The Mississippi Highway Patrol confirmed the deaths, and a medical helicopter was seen at the scene. All lanes in the area are blocked, and drivers are urged to use caution or seek an alternative route. The victims have been identified as John Potts, 68, and Victoria Hutcherson, 13 in the U.S. 49 crash.

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: Hancock vs. South Panola (MHSAA 6A State Championship) [05/14/24]
SUMMARY: The Hancock Hawks faced off against South Panola in a pitcher's duel, with both teams playing strong defense and keeping the game scoreless until the fifth inning. Hancock Lady Hawks drop game 1 of state championship series 2-1
SUMMARY: High school softball state championships began today at Southern Miss with three teams competing for the title.
