Wiggins firefighter shares how she survived fire engine wreck
SUMMARY: Firefighters from across the state united to raise funds for Kaylee Randolph, a Wiggins firefighter injured in a fire engine accident on May 19. Family, friends grieve death of Pascagoula man fatally struck by vehicle
SUMMARY: Jackie Davis, a well-known Pascagoula resident, tragically died after being struck by a large commercial truck on Market Street. Bound to a motorized wheelchair, Jackie was often seen riding around the town. He was known for his honesty, charisma, and resilience, having survived a shooting in 2010 that left him partially paralyzed. His niece, Nikila Davis, first witnessed the aftermath and is deeply affected by the incident. Police Chief Terry Scott confirmed that the accident happened as a truck turned onto Market Street from Old Mobile. An investigation is ongoing. Family and friends remember Jackie for his enduring smile and positive spirit.
Despite being bound to a wheelchair, Jackie Davis was often seen traveling the streets of Pascagoula.
