Crawfish prices start to drop in Mississippi
SUMMARY: Crawfish prices are finally dropping after last summer's drought, with prices for live crawfish at $6.99 per pound and boiled at $5.49 per pound. Although prices have decreased over the past month, crawfish farmers are still struggling due to low supply. Some farmers are having to harvest over 100 acres just to get one sack of crawfish. This has caused prices to remain higher than usual despite the slight increase in harvesting. However, it is expected that prices will not drop much further this season due to the limited supply.
