Perry Central sees significant rise in graduation rates

Wiggins firefighter pinned in fire engine accident released from hospital

Around midnight, the Wiggins Fire Department's engine rolled multiple times en route, trapping a firefighter underneath. The firefighter was rescued using the jaws of life and transported to a hospital, where she has been discharged and is expected to fully recover. The person involved in the initial single-vehicle accident was also freed and was uninjured. Fire Chief Steve Purvis provided this information.
