Jimmie Rodgers Foundation and other groups miss out on funding from the City of Meridian

SUMMARY: The Council discussed and voted down a request from the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation for a $60,000 contribution for their annual in 2024. The vote was anonymous, and it is not known which members voted against the request, but at least three members voted against it. The City Council is hosting a work to give the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation and others an to plead their cases. The Foundation is inviting everyone to to the work session to speak out and see a positive outcome.
