Glory House trailer recovered
SUMMARY: The trailer stolen from a charitable organization in Jones County has been found on Highway 49 near Mount Olive with minimal damage. The Glory House lent the trailer to the United Way of the Pine Belt Region, and both groups are thankful it has been found, despite the contents being gone. Although the thief has not been identified, the person who currently has the trailer claims to be replacing 2-3 trailers a week. If anyone has information about the theft, they are encouraged to come forward.

Fallen law enforcement officers remembered, honored during Hattiesburg ceremony
SUMMARY: Today, in honor of National Police Week, a ceremony was held to honor 11 fallen police officers from Forest and Lamar counties in Mississippi. The Pine Bell area law enforcement memorial ceremony paid tribute to the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting their community. Family members of the fallen officers spoke about the importance of remembering their loved ones. The names of the officers were read aloud, roses were placed in their honor, and a gun salute and trumpet performance of TAPS occurred. Community leaders came together to show support and appreciation for the officers who gave their lives in service.
