Ocean Springs putting Urban Renewal plan back on the drawing board
SUMMARY: The urban renewal plan is back on the drawing board after the city filed a motion last week to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the Institute for Justice against the city. The lawsuit challenges the city's plan, claiming it's taking away property rights without due process. The city is proposing to modify the language used in the documents and vote on the map in two weeks.
