Public gives input on project progress
SUMMARY: The town of Sulligent, Alabama is planning to replace a bridge over State Route 118 and add sidewalks to the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation will begin the bidding process at the end of next year and construction is expected to start in 2025. The public was given a chance to voice their opinions, and the project is estimated to take about 18 months to complete. John McWilliams, a public information officer for ALDOT, expressed gratitude for the community's support and input during the public involvement meetings.
