Lottery Makes October Transfer of $11,752,679 to State

SUMMARY: The Mississippi Lottery Corporation transferred $11,752,679.57 in net proceeds to the Lottery Proceeds Fund in the Mississippi State Treasury for the month of October. This brings the total for the fiscal year of 2024 to $46,621,273.02. The Alyce G. Clarke Lottery Law requires the MLC to transfer net proceeds within 20 days following the close of each calendar month. The first $80 million is allocated to Mississippi Department of Transportation projects, while proceeds exceeding $80 million go to the Education Enhancement Fund.
