Music Monday: Kicking
SUMMARY: Music Monday continues in Jackson with a band introducing themselves: JD on guitar, Bobby on vocals, and Lacy on bass. The band's name, “Kicking,” is derived from a song by their favorite band, Torch. Their music style blends '90s grunge, alternative, and rock, described as “heavy music you can dance to.” They hail from various places but have made Jackson their home, contributing to the local music scene. They frequently play at venues like CS's Burger Joint and other spots around Jackson. The band's eight-year longevity is attributed to stubbornness and strong foundations of friendship among the members.
