Burn bans expand
SUMMARY: Counties in Tennessee are placing restrictions on outdoor burning, with a total of seven counties now implementing burn bans. Covington's County was among the first to put a burn ban into place earlier this week. The ban comes after a blaze on Watts Road burned several acres and threatened the Williamson Cemetery. Fire crews have been working to protect the area from further damage. The restrictions on outdoor burning aim to prevent further wildfires and preserve public safety.
