Hinds County announces more precinct changes ahead of primary
SUMMARY: Hinds County in Mississippi has announced precinct changes for the 2023 Primary Election. Precinct 1 voters, who used to cast their votes at the Eudora Welty Library, have been moved to the Old Capitol Inn due to accessibility issues for disabled voters. The District 3 Supervisor, Credell Calhoun, highlighted the importance of ensuring voter comfort. Meanwhile, the City of Clinton has also redirected some voters from Sumner Hill to the Pinehaven Fire Station for state elections. The precincts will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8.
