Domestic violence incident lands woman in Lowndes Co. Jail, man wanted

SUMMARY: A woman in Lowndes County, Mississippi has been and charged with Aggravated Domestic Violence after allegedly using her car as a weapon during a domestic violence incident. Witnesses claim that Selvin Richard punched Corrye Jordan in the face and left the scene. In response, Jordan tried to grab a bat but Richardson's father took it away from her. Jordan then got into her car and attempted to over Richardson and his twice. Richardson is currently being sought by investigators, as warrants have been issued for his arrest on a domestic violence charge.

Pearl police arrest man for sexual assault of minor

SUMMARY: Pearl 31-year-old Lavarias Sherod Chaffee for sexual assault of a minor. Chaffee was charged with sexual battery of a child under 14, gratification of lust, kidnapping, child pornography, and child exploitation. The arrest followed a sexual assault investigation involving several juveniles. Chaffee was booked into the Rankin County Jail and police expect more charges as the investigation continues.
