What to expect in Mississippi’s general election

SUMMARY: The election is just four days away and will feature races for Secretary of , , and Governor. Incumbent Republican Governor Tate Reeves is challenged by Democrat Brandon Presley. Voters can cast their ballots from 7 am to 7 pm on Tuesday. Tomorrow is the last day to vote in-person absentee, with circuit clerk offices open from 8 am until noon to accommodate voters who cannot in during the work . Voters can also pick up mail-in ballots. All mail-in absentee ballots must be postmarked by November 7th and received by the county circuit clerk offices within five business days to count.
