Weather Channel Meteorologist Mike Seidel on Flooded San Diego River
SUMMARY: San Diego has seen about an inch and a half of rain since yesterday, with peak rainfall rates of 1500s of an inch per hour. Minor impacts have been seen, with the San Diego River just below minor flood stage. The flood watch will continue until late tonight, but after that, another system will move through and Southern California will begin to dry out. Despite the rain, there are still some blue skies, and locals say this is not a rare occurrence. Overall, the impact of the rain in San Diego has been minor.

Paint With Crestwood
SUMMARY: Crestwood Elementary School held a mural painting event, where students, staff, parents, and community members came together to create a colorful mural on the school wall. The event included free food and entertainment for everyone to enjoy while painting. The interactive mural will allow students and teachers to be expressive and creative, with sections for shout-outs, student recognition, and student artwork. Crestwood received a $5,000 grant to beautify their campus and create permanent artwork. West Lauderdale High School also held a similar event, their second annual Market, to showcase student talent and creativity.

Circle of the Dragon 12 Hr Endurance Run
SUMMARY: The Circle of the Dragon 12-hour endurance run took place at Bonita Lakes Park. Participants ran or walked the trail as their families cheered them on. The circle of the Dragon run is the third of its kind, with participants striving to complete challenges within the race. The event's proceeds will contribute to Carage's future events.
For some, this is their first time participating while others have done trail runs for many years.
