Veteran runs Natchez Trace to raise money to end veteran suicides

SUMMARY: Philip Parsons is running the entire length of the Natchez Trace to raise money to prevent from taking their own lives. Parsons, who struggled with suicidal after returning from deployment, found solace in running and wants to others who may be struggling. He has received encouragement from his crew and messages from people who said that his story and running have stopped them from attempting suicide. Parsons aims to raise $31,200 by December 1st and accepts donations on the website pledgit.org/natr.
