SUMMARY: This weekend saw various playoff baseball and softball games, with teams like West Lauderdale, Thea Central, and the Rockets in action. West Lauderdale's softball team won 7-0 against Tishomingo County Braves, while Thea Central's Lady Rockets defeated Lake Corin 12-0. The Rockets baseball team, however, lost to Grenada 9-1. Other baseball scores included Newton County beating Ripley 2-0, Clarkdale defeating M 9-8, and Lake winning 17-0 against Richon. In softball, Newton County won 5-1 against ITA Agricultural, Union beat Hatley 10-0, and Cha Central lost to Calonia 6-3. The Tigers advanced to Regionals by defeating Selma 19-0 after losing to Marberry 2-0.
