Two plead guilty in stabbing death of Forest man

SUMMARY: A man and a woman have both pleaded guilty in connection to the stabbing death of a Forest man in Rankin County, Mississippi. Jeffrey Allen Freeman pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison without parole, while Madison Nicole Hardin pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. The victim's body was found with multiple stab wounds, and his truck was stolen. Freeman and Hardin were found in possession of the stolen truck and were linked to the crime through DNA evidence and electronic messages revealing their intent to steal the truck.
