Tupelo man to tackle St Jude half marathon in his wheelchair
SUMMARY: Jorden Daniel, a 19-year-old Tupelo man, is participating in the annual St Jude Marathon to raise awareness about and support for St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Jorden has been a St Jude patient his entire life and despite being wheelchair-bound due to cancer, he is determined to participate in the marathon. He was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at four months and underwent treatment to remove the tumor, but was never able to walk. Jorden is training for the 13-mile run and hopes to raise money for a racing chair for next year. He encourages people to donate to St Jude, emphasizing the hospital's crucial role in saving children's lives.
