Starkville bars work to prevent drunk driving in the area
SUMMARY: Bars in Starkville, Mississippi are taking steps to prevent drunk driving in the area during game days. The Stagger Inn and Uno Mas, two popular establishments in the college town, are training their staff in alcohol awareness and monitoring how much patrons have had to drink. They also offer rides home to intoxicated customers using Uber. While the managers admit that they can only do so much, they believe that these efforts will help make the issue of drunk driving less of a problem in Starkville. Mothers Against Drunk Driving is also offering a discount on Ubers to help prevent drunk driving.
